Through nine hundred years of history
stands in ornamented stones,
royal castle - armored glory,
where sovereigns had the throne.

High above the River Thames
on the edge of a Saxon hunting ground,
William the Conqueror built the fame
and the treasure with the finest works of art.

Then St. George's Chapel founded
by Edward the IV in century XV splendor,
dedicated to the Order of the Garter,
to chivalry and the martyrs.

Castle's windows beams the light,
Lantern Lobby gothic arches are entwined.
Queen and Duke of Edinburgh just fine,
in the castle celebrated, future bright.
